Jerbrina L. Johnson is a founding partner at Perimeter Law Group, located at 2336 Wisteria Drive, Suite 410, in Snellville, Georgia. Admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2006, she has built a robust legal career specializing in family law, personal injury, and business law. The firm has quickly gained a reputation for its commitment to quality legal representation and client advocacy. Born and raised in Kosciusko, Mississippi, Ms. Johnson's academic journey began at Jackson State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Pre-Law in 2002, graduating magna cum laude. This strong academic foundation paved the way for her admission to the University of Mississippi School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 2005.
During her final semester, she interned with the Georgia Innocence Project in Atlanta, working diligently to assist in the release of wrongfully convicted inmates—an experience that deepened her commitment to justice. After joining the Georgia Bar, Ms. Johnson founded J.L — Johnson & Associates, LLC in 2006. Her firm initially focused on family law, personal injury, and consumer bankruptcy. This lets the attorney address a variety of legal issues faced by her clients. In her practice, she has served as a Guardian Ad Litem in the Superior Courts of Georgia, representing the best interests of children in custody and visitation matters—an essential role that shows her dedication to family law. Recognition has followed Ms.
Johnson throughout her career. In 2019, she was honored as one of Georgia’s Rising Stars by Super Lawyers Magazine, an accolade awarded to only 2.5% of attorneys in the state. She has continued to earn accolades, being recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyer from 2022 to 2025. These honors reflect her commitment to excellence and her effectiveness in the courtroom. In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Johnson is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice in all state courts, including the Supreme Court of Georgia and the Georgia Court of Appeals. She is also admitted to the U.S.
District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Outside of her legal work, she serves as an Executive Board Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and volunteers as a judge for high school moot court and mock trial competitions. Her involvement in career day events and community public speaking engagements in the Atlanta area demonstrates her commitment to mentoring the next generation.
