About Jeffrey Seth
Jeffrey Seth Rivard is an attorney admitted in Connecticut and New York. He earned his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2006 after completing a B.A. at Tufts University in 1996, where he studied history and drama. The combination of humanities and law shaped an analytical approach to fact patterns and an interest in advocacy that has guided his work since law school.
Rivard began his legal career in 2007. Early roles included work as an associate lawyer at Weatherby & Associates, P.C., and a contract research lawyer position at MacDermid, Reynolds & Glissman, P.C. Those early years involved case preparation, legal research and supporting litigation teams, experience that informed how he manages files and prepares matters for hearing.
In 2017 he became a partner at Czepiga Daly Pope & Perri LLC. The move to partnership reflected a steady progression from associate and contract roles into firm leadership. At the firm he handles cases that require courtroom preparation and administrative advocacy. He is also an accredited Veterans Affairs claims lawyer, accredited by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, which allows him to represent veterans before the VA and handle appeals on their behalf.
Outside the office Rivard is active in community organizations. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and has served as an assistant scoutmaster for Troop 68 in Farmington, Connecticut. He also joined the Farmington Rotary Club in 2019. Those roles place him in civic and professional circles where local legal issues and community needs intersect.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in discovery and careful in preparing witness statements and filings. He draws on his research background when building administrative records or preparing legal memoranda. Licensed in two states, he can take matters that cross state lines or involve multi-jurisdictional issues.
Rivard maintains his practice at Czepiga Daly Pope & Perri LLC and continues to handle veterans benefits matters alongside civil casework in Connecticut and New York. He represents clients in veterans benefits claims and related legal matters.
