About Jeffrey J.
Jeffrey J. Valocchi has been a visible figure in Pennsylvania’s trial courts for decades. He took on a high-responsibility courtroom role early in his public-service career and has continued to work in litigation and case management since.
In 1981 Valocchi served as Head of the Pre-Trial Division in the Chester County Court of Common Pleas. That role placed him at the center of case intake, early motion practice and the scheduling that shapes how disputes move toward trial. Colleagues from that era recall an emphasis on orderly docket management and efforts to keep complex civil and criminal matters moving through the system.
His work in the courthouse exposed him to a broad range of pre-trial issues. He handled arraignments, discovery disputes, evidentiary hearings and other procedural matters that often determine whether cases settle or proceed to trial. The tasks were practical and procedural, the kind that require careful attention to local rules and steady courtroom presence. That experience informed how he later approached private practice and client work.
Valocchi remains an active member of the Pennsylvania State Bar. Membership in the state bar has kept him connected to changes in procedure and continuing legal education opportunities. It has also provided a thread of continuity from his years inside the county court system to his present legal work.
After his time in the pre-trial division, Valocchi continued to practice in Pennsylvania courts. He has represented individuals and entities in matters that required detailed pre-trial preparation and courtroom advocacy. His career has balanced time in the courthouse with work behind the scenes preparing cases for trial, managing discovery and arguing procedural matters that can alter the course of litigation.
He maintains an office under the name Jeffrey J. Valocchi, Esq. That office handles civil and criminal litigation tasks that draw on his decades of courtroom experience. He is known for steady case management and a pragmatic approach to the procedural side of litigation.
Today Valocchi focuses his practice on pre-trial procedure, case preparation and courtroom litigation in Pennsylvania courts.
