About Jeffrey J
Jeffrey J Sadri built his legal foundation in Maryland and Washington, D.C. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from American University in 2005 and completed his J.D. at the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2012. During law school he combined classroom study with hands-on roles that shaped his early career.
As a student he worked as a research assistant to Professor Nienke Grossman and took part in clinical and internship programs that put him inside courtrooms and government offices. He served as a judicial intern for The Honorable Marcus Z. Shar of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. He spent time at the U.S. Department of Justice in the Civil Rights Division and completed a summer associate placement at The Hermina Law Group. He also worked as a mediator in the Maryland Lawyer General s Office, Consumer Protection Division and completed a 40-hour mediation skills training workshop at the University of Baltimore School of Law.
After graduating, Sadri moved into roles that combined practice and teaching. He was a law clerk at Bennett & Associates, P.C. in 2012 and took on an adjunct faculty position at the University of Baltimore School of Law the same year. He joined Bennett & Ellison, P.C. as an associate lawyer in 2013, a step that followed a series of internships and staff positions that focused on litigation support, research and dispute resolution.
His background includes work in civil rights at the federal level, mediation in consumer protection matters and practical courtroom exposure at the state level. Those experiences inform the way he approaches factual investigation and case preparation. He has also stayed engaged with the profession through local and statewide bar groups, maintaining membership in the Maryland State Bar Association, the Maryland Association for Justice, the Bar Association of Baltimore City and the Anne Arundel Bar Association since 2013.
Colleagues and clients see him as a lawyer who combines practical courtroom experience with an interest in negotiated outcomes. His mediation training and early work in consumer protection give him particular familiarity with dispute resolution procedures. He has taught law students and participated in legal research projects, which keeps him connected to legal scholarship and instruction.
He practices law in Maryland and is associated with Bennett & Ellison, P.C. He currently focuses his practice on matters that draw on his litigation, mediation and civil-rights experience.
