Jeffrey David Horowitz is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1990. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Horowitz is the founder and managing attorney of The Horowitz Law Firm, APC, a law firm located in Sherman Oaks, California. He has been practicing law for over 35 years, serving clients throughout the greater Los Angeles area and Southern California.

Mr. Horowitz earned his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California, graduating in 1990. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at California State University, Northridge, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Real Estate in 1987. During his time at Loyola Law School, he was actively involved in various legal organizations and participated in moot court competitions.

Mr. Horowitz concentrates his practice in the areas of construction law, real estate law, eminent domain, and surety bond law. He represents property owners, businesses, contractors, and subcontractors in matters involving construction disputes, real estate transactions, eminent domain proceedings, and surety bond claims. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Throughout his career, Mr. Horowitz has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate attorney at a mid-size litigation firm in Century City for five years.

Mr. Horowitz is an active member of the American Bar Association and its Tort & Insurance Practice Sections, where he serves on the Fidelity & Surety Law Committee. He is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Horowitz has lectured on construction law and surety bond issues and authored a chapter on surety law for a legal resource of the American Bar Association. He is fluent in English and Hebrew, allowing him to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
