About Olga

Olga Zalomiy trained first in Russia and later in the United States. She earned a law degree in the Russian Federation in 1991 and pursued further study at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, completing an LL.M. program in 2005. Those two legal educations set the stage for a career that has crossed jurisdictions and legal systems.

Her early professional years included a stint as in-house counsel at the Central Bank of the Russian Federation in 1996. She moved into private practice and international firm work after that, joining Andreas Neocleous & Co., Advocates and Legal Consultants in 2002. A year later she worked as a plaintiff's attorney in private practice. In 2008 she established the Law Offices of Olga Zalomiy, PC, where she has practiced since.

Zalomiy is admitted to practice in New York, the Russian Federation and California. She has held membership in the State Bar of California since 2007 and has been a member of the Union of Lawyers of the Russian Federation since 1996. Her roles and credentials point toward work that spans domestic litigation, cross-border disputes and international arbitration.

Her record includes a number of positions tied to international and arbitration work. She became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 2010 and has served as a domain name panelist for the World Intellectual Property Organization since 2011. She also serves on committees addressing Russia and Eurasia within the American Bar Association's Section of International Law.

Colleagues describe her career as bridging public and private legal work. She has experience inside a central bank, within international law practices, and leading a solo or small-firm practice. That background informs how she approaches cases that involve multiple legal systems or specialized dispute resolution processes.

Outside the office she has been active in the Los Angeles County Bar Association's international law section, holding officer roles since 2011 and serving as First Vice-Chair beginning in 2012. She continues to participate in professional groups that focus on international law, arbitration and intellectual property.

She currently practices through the Law Offices of Olga Zalomiy, PC and handles matters that include international arbitration, cross-border litigation and domain name disputes.
