About Jeffrey

Jeffrey Bellomo built a law career grounded in tax, estates and elder law. He began in the classroom. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2000 from Juniata College, where he studied political communication. He then completed his J.D. at Widener University Commonwealth Law School in 2003. Five years later he returned to law school and earned an LL.M. in Taxation and Estate Planning from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2008.

His bar admission and early professional steps trace back to Pennsylvania. He has been a member of the Pennsylvania State Bar since 2003. That year marked his formal entry into practice. Over the next decade he combined academic study with practical work on legal matters that intersect tax, estates and issues facing older clients.

Certification in elder law followed. Bellomo holds the Certified Elder Law Lawyer (CELA) credential from the National Elder Law Foundation. The certification signals formal training and examination in the specialized legal needs of seniors and their families. He added advanced taxation study to round out the technical tools that estate planning often requires.

Careerwise, Bellomo has worked as a lawyer at Bellomo & Associates, LLC. The firm’s name reflects his role in a small practice setting where attorneys often handle a broad array of tasks. He has represented clients on matters that commonly appear at the crossroads of guardianship, Medicaid planning, probate, and tax issues. He has also assisted families in planning for incapacity and the disposition of assets.

Colleagues and clients encounter a lawyer who mixes technical study with hands-on problem solving. He brings an academic background in taxation and estates to everyday client questions. Cases and client matters tend to require both legal drafting and practical coordination with financial and health-care considerations. His work can involve drafting trusts and wills, preparing Medicaid strategies, handling estate administration and advising on tax consequences.

Outside of direct client work, Bellomo remains connected to the professional bar. He has maintained his Pennsylvania State Bar membership since his admission and participates in the kinds of ongoing education that certification and complex practice areas require. He keeps current on state and federal developments that affect older clients and estate tax rules.

He practices law in Pennsylvania through Bellomo & Associates, LLC. He currently handles matters in elder law, estate planning and related tax issues.
