About Jay
Jay Carey graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1993 with a degree in economics and earned his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis in 1997. He completed his formal legal training at a time when the profession was adjusting to new technology and changing client expectations. Those early years shaped how he approaches casework: methodical, attentive to detail and practical in outcome.
After law school, Carey entered private practice. He joined Briggs and Morgan, P.A. as an associate in 2000. At that firm he worked in a team environment handling matters for a variety of clients.
