About Jacques P.

Jacques P. Landrieu earned his J.D. from Tulane University School of Law in 2014 after completing undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University. His legal education placed him in settings known for rigorous coursework and practical training. He moved from classroom to courtroom preparedness quickly, completing his formal training before stepping into private practice.

Early in his career Landrieu secured admission to practice in Louisiana and gained credentialing to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Those admissions allowed him to take on matters at both the state and federal level. He also maintains memberships in the American Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association, linking him to statewide and national professional networks.

Landrieu joined Kean Miller LLP as an associate. In that role he has worked on matters that require familiarity with local procedure and federal practice. The associate position at a regional firm exposed him to a mix of client work and courtroom preparation. He has also been involved with the Tulane Law School Inn of Court, a group that brings practicing lawyers and judges together with law students for mentorship and skills development.

Colleagues describe Landrieu as steady and detail-oriented in file work and courtroom preparation. He has handled filings, drafted pleadings, and supported litigation strategy under senior counsel. The work has required a practical command of procedural rules and the ability to coordinate among clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. He has continued to develop those competencies while expanding his responsibilities at the firm.

Today Landrieu practices as an associate at Kean Miller LLP, representing clients in matters arising in Louisiana courts and in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. He remains active in bar associations and in the Tulane Law School Inn of Court. He currently practices at Kean Miller LLP, handling matters in Louisiana and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
