About Jacklyn

Jacklyn Bentley earned her B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College in 2003 and went on to receive her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2007. Those years shaped the shift from undergraduate study to legal training. Law school placed her in the Northern California legal scene during a period of change and growth.

After graduating, Bentley established a practice that has stayed rooted in the Bay Area. She is admitted to practice in California and is also qualified to appear in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Those federal admissions expanded the courtroom doors available to her clients.

Bentley has maintained professional affiliations throughout her career. She has been a member of Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom since 2004. Since 2009 she has held membership in ARAG Legal Insurance. These associations reflect ongoing ties to organizations that serve both lawyers and the public.

Her career is built around running the Law Office of Jacklyn Bentley. Over time the solo practice has handled a range of matters requiring both state and federal filings. Bentley has moved work from intake through litigation and resolution, representing individual clients in proceedings before trial courts and in some federal settings.

Colleagues describe her as someone who prefers clear legal analysis and direct communication. In meetings and in filings she tends to favor plain language and practical explanations. That approach shapes how she advises clients and prepares cases for court. It also affects how she manages the pace of a small office where responsiveness matters.

Clients who come to her office do so for hands-on attention in matters that require careful procedural handling. She has navigated hearings, filings and courtroom appearances in California state courts and in federal districts when cases require it. Her practice emphasizes thorough preparation and an understanding of local court procedures.

Today Bentley continues to operate the Law Office of Jacklyn Bentley. She represents clients in matters brought in California courts and in the Northern and Central federal districts, handling litigation and related court work as part of her current practice focus.
