About Adam
Adam Davis grew up in the Bay Area and completed his secondary education at Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, finishing in 2006 after beginning his studies in 2002. He went on to attend Santa Clara University School of Law from 2007 to 2010 and received his J.D. in 2010.
While in law school, Davis spent a term as a judicial extern for the Honorable Jeremy Fogel at the United States District Court for the Northern District of California in San Jose. That placement put him inside the federal courthouse and involved legal research and drafting that supported the court’s work. The externship gave him early exposure to federal practice and courtroom procedure.
Davis joined Davis, Bengtson & Young, APLC in 2008. He has worked there in roles that include client representation in litigation and handling filings in both state and federal matters. His tenure at the firm overlaps several phases of his training and early practice. In 2013 he returned to the academic setting as an adjunct professor at Lincoln Law School of San Jose, teaching law students and engaging in the classroom side of legal training.
Outside the office, Davis is active in local and professional circles. He holds membership on the Santa Clara County Bar Association Barristers Executive Board, participates in the Hon. William A. Ingram American Inn of Court, and has been a member of the State Bar of California since 2011. These affiliations reflect ongoing engagement with the legal community and peer education programs.
Davis is licensed to practice in California and is admitted to appear before several federal courts and appellate panels. His admissions include the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Federal Circuit. That range of jurisdictional credentials supports work that crosses state and federal lines.
He maintains an active practice at Davis, Bengtson & Young, APLC. His current work centers on civil litigation and federal practice, handling cases that require courtroom experience and federal-court procedure knowledge.
