Hubert E. Hamilton III, known as "Hu," retired from the practice of law on December 31, 2022, after a distinguished 46-year career. A native of Macon, Georgia, Hamilton earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University in 1973. He then pursued his Juris Doctor at Mercer University Walter F — George School of Law, graduating in 1976. Shortly after passing the Georgia bar, he began his legal career in Macon, Georgia. In 1987, he expanded his practice by becoming licensed in Tennessee, and in 2018, he was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar. Throughout his career, Hamilton was recognized for his expertise in personal injury and products liability law.
