About Mark W
Mark W Litchford earned his J.D. from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2008. He arrived in the profession after completing law school and began his career in Tennessee. His early years were shaped by courtroom work and handling contested civil matters.
Soon after graduating, Litchford joined Grant Konvalinka & Harrison, PC in 2008. Records list him as a lawyer-partner at that firm. During his time there he handled client consultations, pretrial preparation and litigation tasks typical of a regional civil practice. The role exposed him to the practical demands of litigation in state courts and the day-to-day responsibilities of managing client files.
In 2019 he took a different path and became the owner of Litchford, Pearce & Associates, PLLC. Establishing a firm allowed him to manage case selection and firm operations directly. As owner he oversees case strategy, staffing and client intake, and he remains involved in the substantive work on active matters.
Litchford holds a certification from the National Business Institute in Advanced Plaintiff Strategies for Automobile Injuries. That course reflects an emphasis on plaintiff-side techniques in auto injury matters, including claim development and trial preparation. He is admitted to practice in both Tennessee and Georgia, which shapes the geographic reach of his practice and determines where he files suits and appears in court.
Colleagues describe Litchford as pragmatic in the courtroom. He tends to handle cases through the full lifecycle: initial investigation, discovery, settlement negotiations and trial when necessary. His courtroom experience complements the plaintiff-oriented training he pursued. In client meetings he focuses on fact gathering and explaining options in plain terms. That approach is consistent across the types of matters his firm handles.
Outside of active casework he manages the operational side of his firm. That includes supervising attorneys and coordinating with experts and investigators. He also maintains continuing legal education through programs related to personal injury practice. He currently practices at Litchford, Pearce & Associates, PLLC, representing clients in automobile injury and related civil matters across Tennessee and Georgia.
