About Hillary

Hillary Parsons earned her law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2005. She left school into a legal landscape that was changing rapidly. Over the past two decades she has built a steady practice and a reputation for pragmatic problem-solving.

Her early years after law school were spent establishing the foundations of her practice. Those formative years gave her experience in managing client matters from intake through resolution. She learned to balance the demands of casework, motion deadlines and client expectations. That practical grounding underpins the way she approaches each new matter.

Parsons is an active member of the local legal community. She currently belongs to the Ramsey County Bar Association, where she has participated in programs and events that connect lawyers across the county. Engagement in the bar has informed her approach to professional ethics and collegial practice.

Since joining Caplan & Tamburino, Parsons has continued to develop a general commercial and civil practice. Her work involves advising clients, preparing filings, and representing interests in contested proceedings when necessary. She emphasizes clear communication and steady case management. Colleagues describe her as thoughtful and thorough in preparing legal arguments and in strategizing next steps for clients.

Clients and peers see Parsons as practical in her problem-solving. She writes and speaks plainly about options, risks and likely outcomes. That plain-speaking style helps clients understand trade-offs and make informed decisions. In the office she focuses on organizing tasks and meeting deadlines so matters move forward rather than stall.

Outside the office Parsons balances professional responsibilities with community engagement. Though she keeps a low public profile, she attends bar events and participates in practice-area meetings. Her courtroom appearances and negotiated resolutions reflect an attorney comfortable in both advocacy and settlement settings.

As of 2026 she practices at Caplan & Tamburino and concentrates her work on representing clients in a range of civil matters.
