About Herman Austin Watson
Herman Austin Watson IV trained across several legal traditions before opening his own practice. He earned a J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco in 2012 after study that included a year abroad at Leiden Universiteit in 2011, where he focused on international law and international criminal law. He holds a B.A. in philosophy from Lewis & Clark College, conferred in 2007, and later attended Mercer University’s Trial Practice Institute in 2016 to sharpen courtroom skills.
Watson was admitted to the California bar in 2014 and began working at Watson Law Office, P.C. in 2015. His membership in the California State Bar dates to 2014. He also holds membership in the Montana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, a connection that began in 2016 and continues.
