About Anthony
Anthony Jackson is a Montana lawyer whose career has been rooted in the state’s legal institutions. He trained at the University of Montana School of Law and later returned to the state’s highest court early in his career. Those experiences have shaped a practice that remains focused on issues that arise under Montana law.
Jackson earned his J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law in 2009. His time in law school included classroom work and practical training that prepared him for litigation and appellate work. He graduated into a legal market where local knowledge and courtroom experience matter.
In 2012 Jackson served as a Lawyer Clerk at the Montana Supreme Court. The clerkship placed him inside the appellate process. He drafted memoranda, reviewed briefs and assisted justices in legal research. The work offered a close view of how appellate courts frame legal questions and how precedent develops in the state.
After the clerkship Jackson moved into private practice and other professional roles in Montana. He maintains current membership in professional associations that serve the state’s legal community. Those connections keep him engaged with colleagues and current developments in Montana law. The combination of court-side experience and private practice has informed his approach to legal problem solving.
Jackson currently practices from AFJ Law Office Pllc. He handles matters arising under state law and represents clients in a range of proceedings. His background in appellate work gives him particular familiarity with brief writing and legal research, and his courtroom work informs litigation strategy at trial level as well.
He is admitted to practice in Montana and continues to work from AFJ Law Office Pllc, representing clients on matters in the state’s courts and administrative forums.
