About Heather

Heather Hadi built her legal foundation in the classroom. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Kentucky in 2010 and completed her Juris Doctor at St. Thomas University School of Law in 2013. Those credentials set the stage for a small-practice career that has been active since the early 2010s.

Soon after law school, Hadi launched her own practice. In 2013 she became the owner of Heather A. Hadi, PSC. That same year she joined the American Immigration Lawyers Association, an affiliation she has maintained into the present. Membership in AILA signaled an early and continuing interest in immigration questions and the administrative and court processes that surround them.

Hadi’s civic involvement has run alongside her private practice. In 2014 she took a board role with the Central Kentucky Counsel for Peace and Justice and joined the Central Kentucky Inns of Court. Those memberships have kept her connected to colleagues across the region and to local legal education efforts. Peers describe her as a steady presence at events and meetings where practitioners trade practical guidance on courtroom technique and case management.

Her admitted jurisdictions include Kentucky and the Federal Circuit. That combination reflects work in state matters as well as filings and appearances that implicate federal appellate procedures. Hadi’s practice has required handling administrative petitions, federal filings, and related courtroom work. She has applied the procedural tools common to federal practice while maintaining a caseload rooted in the needs of clients in Kentucky.

Hadi runs a compact practice. She manages filings, briefs, and client communications herself and coordinates with local counsel when cases extend beyond her office. The size of the practice allows her to remain hands-on in case preparation and court appearances. Her professional memberships continue to shape the work she accepts and the colleagues she consults for complex procedural questions.

Colleagues and local bar participants see Hadi as a practitioner who has woven public service and solo practice into a consistent career path since 2013. She remains active in regional legal circles while maintaining her firm and practicing in Kentucky and before the Federal Circuit. Her practice centers on immigration and federal-court matters.
