About Hal Walker

Hal Walker Jr. earned his J.D. from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law at Faulkner University in 1997. He finished law school at a time when many new attorneys were still finding their footing. Walker moved quickly into practice.

Two years after graduating, he became managing partner of Walker Law Office in 1999. That role put him in charge of day-to-day operations as well as case strategy. Over the years he has overseen litigation and the administrative work of a small firm.

Walker is admitted to practice before the Federal Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, as well as in Alabama. Those admissions mean he routinely prepares appeals and handles matters that reach both state and federal benches. He appears in trial courts and handles appellate filings when cases advance beyond the trial level.

Colleagues and peers have noted his steady presence in court. Since 2017 he has been listed as a member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 100. That membership reflects recognition by a national organization that tracks trial attorneys.

His career path is straightforward. He built a local practice and kept it active across multiple forum levels. Managing a firm for more than two decades required him to balance client work, staffing, and legal filings. He has maintained his practice through changes in law and procedure, and through the evolving expectations of clients and courts.

Walker keeps a practical approach to legal work. He handles matters that require appearances in Alabama courts and in federal appellate courts. He has experience preparing briefs, arguing motions, and conducting trials when cases require it. He also handles the administrative responsibilities that come with running a law office, from client intake to docket management.

Today he leads Walker Law Office and continues to practice in the Federal Circuit, the 11th Circuit and Alabama state courts. He remains active in the legal community and maintains his standing in professional circles. He currently focuses his practice on matters that proceed through trial and appellate stages across those jurisdictions.
