About Gregory
Gregory Deemer built a practical foundation in business before turning to law. He earned a B.S. in Business Management and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He then completed a J.D. at the Appalachian School of Law and later pursued an LL.M. in Tax at the University of Denver, finishing that advanced degree in 2017.
He moved into private practice in the mid-2010s. Since 2014 he has operated Deemer Law Group, PLLC, which serves clients from a Denver office. His practice grew to cover a mix of federal and state filings, appeals and tax matters. Over time he added admissions to a number of courts and jurisdictions, expanding the firm’s reach beyond Colorado.
The list of jurisdictions in which he is admitted is unusually broad. It includes state bars in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, North Dakota, Montana and Missouri, as well as the District of Columbia. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Federal Circuit, the 10th Circuit and the U.S. Tax Court. Those credentials pair with his LL.M. in Tax and suggest regular engagement with federal tax issues and appellate work.
His professional affiliations mirror that range. He holds memberships in the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association and the Adams/Broomfield Bar Association. He is also a member of the Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota and Wyoming state bars. National and national-appeal organizations are on his list too, including the American Bar Association and the DC Bar. He belongs to the International Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi and the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, International.
Colleagues and clients see a lawyer who navigates filings across state and federal venues. His tax credentials inform that dimension of his work, while admissions to multiple appellate courts support handling appeals and federal litigation. He maintains an active presence in bar activities and regional legal groups, which keeps him connected to developments in tax and appellate practice.
He keeps the practice based in Denver and takes matters that require representation in several nearby and national jurisdictions. He continues to accept cases that involve tax law, federal litigation and appellate proceedings, serving clients from his Denver office at Deemer Law Group, PLLC.
