About Faisal
Faisal Moghul earned his law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 2010 after completing a bachelor’s degree in political science and government at Franklin & Marshall College in 2007. His academic path combined classroom study with practical summer placements that prefaced his move into practice.
He began gaining courtroom and law firm experience during law school through internships at the Philadelphia District Lawyer’s Office in 2008 and at Locke Lord LLP in 2009. After passing the bar, he joined Boone Beale, PLLC as an associate in 2011. Four years later he moved into partnership, becoming a partner in 2015 at Fox & Moghul Lawyers at Law, where he remains a firm leader.
Moghul is admitted to practice in multiple forums. He holds licenses in Virginia, the District of Columbia and New York, and he appears in federal courts including the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Columbia, and the D.C. Circuit. Those admissions reflect a practice that crosses state and federal lines and requires familiarity with both trial and appellate procedures.
Over the course of his career he has taken on matters in state and federal courts and in bankruptcy proceedings. That range of admissions has put him before judges in district courts and in the federal bankruptcy court in Washington, D.C. He is a member of bar and professional organizations that align with trial practice and courtroom procedure, including the American Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the Bar Association of the District of Columbia and the New York State Bar Association. He is also a member of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and is listed as a legal services provider for the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors.
At Fox & Moghul Lawyers at Law, Moghul is part of a multi-office practice that handles matters in several jurisdictions. His background includes litigation experience at both boutique and larger law firms, plus public-sector internship experience that shaped his early approach to case preparation and courtroom work. His current practice focuses on civil litigation, bankruptcy matters and legal services for real estate clients.
