About Evan M.
Evan M. Koslow earned his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law after completing a B.A. at The American University. He entered the legal world through a mix of internships and entry-level court work that gave him an early view of litigation, courtroom procedure and legal research. Those formative years included a summer research assistant post at the Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights, and internships in judges’ chambers.
After law school, Koslow moved into positions that deepened his practical experience. In 2010 he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Julia B. Weatherly in the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County, Maryland. That role placed him inside the courtroom rhythm and exposed him to an array of family law matters and procedural questions. He followed the clerkship with associate roles in small firms where he worked on family law issues, first at the Law Office of Kim DiGiovanni Aluisi, L.L.C. in 2011 and then at Brassel Alexander & Rice LLC in 2013.
Koslow’s résumé shows steady progression from support roles to primary advocate. Before his judicial clerkship he worked as a legal research assistant at the University of Baltimore School of Law and held law clerk positions at several firms. Earlier in his career he performed paralegal and courtroom clerk duties and provided administrative support at law firms. Those positions helped him build practical skills in case preparation, court filings and the day-to-day management of client matters.
In 2014 Koslow opened Koslow Law Office LLC and assumed the title of principal. Since then he has maintained an active practice centered on family law. He is a member of professional organizations in the region, including the Maryland State Bar Association, the Prince George’s County Bar Association and the Anne Arundel County Bar Association. He also holds membership in the Chambers of Commerce of Severna Park, Maryland.
Koslow is licensed to practice in Maryland and in the District of Columbia. His career reflects a steady emphasis on domestic relations and courtroom work, informed by early clerkship experience and years as an associate and firm principal. He currently practices family law at Koslow Law Office LLC, handling domestic relations matters and related court proceedings.
