About Eric
Eric Prindle combined humanities study and law in a steady, deliberate course. He earned a B.A. in English and Philosophy from Susquehanna University in 1997 and completed his J.D. at New York University School of Law in 2003. That academic mix shaped both the questions he asks and the style of responses he offers clients.
His early career moved through civic and advocacy work. In 2002 he worked as a field director for a political campaign. After law school he served as a law clerk for New York State United Teachers in 2004 and took a legal internship at FairVote in 2005. He spent time as an associate at the Liberty Tree Foundation in 2006 and later worked as a project assistant and researcher for nonprofit outfits. Those roles kept him close to public interest and policy-oriented legal work.
By 2008 Prindle also began to build a parallel path in legal content and communications. He worked as a copywriter for Kelly Services and then for FindLaw, a Thomson Reuters business. Over the next few years he rose to senior copywriter and, in 2012, to team lead for custom content at FindLaw. Those posts involved producing and managing legal content for practitioners and consumers, and they reflect a consistent thread: law and plain language.
In 2007 he combined research and legal duties at the Prewitt Organizing Fund, and the mix of practice and writing continued to shape his profile. In 2012 he opened his own practice, Eric Prindle Law Office PLLC, taking the title of lawyer and shifting more of his time back toward client work. His background crosses drafting, research, and client counseling. He brings experience from nonprofit advocacy, legal publishing, and hands-on practice.
Prindle holds memberships in local and state bar organizations. He has been a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association since 2009 and joined the Hennepin County Bar Association in 2011. He is also listed as a member of the club2030 Council of The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra since 2009, reflecting an ongoing interest in civic and cultural institutions.
He practices in Minnesota through Eric Prindle Law Office PLLC and serves clients in the state. His current practice concentrates on client representation and legal writing for Minnesota-based matters.
