About Eric Alan

Eric Alan Dibert earned his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2011 after completing a double major in Political Science and Interdisciplinary Social Science at Florida State University's Panama City campus in 2008. He moved from the Florida Panhandle to pursue legal training in Alabama and returned to the region to build his practice.

Dibert began his recorded legal career as an associate in 2017 at Bogin, Munns & Munns, P.A., where he worked on matters that required appearances in both state and federal forums. In 2022 he became a shareholder at Dibert Law Group, PA, a step that marked a shift into firm leadership and expanded responsibility for client matters and case strategy.

He is admitted to practice in Florida and Alabama. He also appears in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida. Those admissions enable him to handle litigation and related court work across multiple jurisdictions when cases touch state and federal law.

Outside the courtroom, Dibert is active locally. He holds membership in Alpha Lodge No. 172 of Free and Accepted Masons and participates in the Eight Judicial Circuit Bar Association. He serves on the Alachua County CAPP Grant Review Committee and is involved with the Gainesville Chamber of Commerce. Those ties reflect a practice rooted in community institutions and professional networks.

Colleagues describe his approach as methodical. He breaks complex matters into manageable parts and presses for clear answers from opposing counsel. He is often the attorney who prepares detailed briefs and then adapts them to changing facts at hearings. He has handled client work that requires coordination across state lines and in federal court, and he is accustomed to procedural work that comes with multi-jurisdictional cases.

When not in court or at the office, he remains connected to professional groups that shape practice standards in the region. His background from Florida State and Alabama Law informs how he advises clients on both local and interstate issues.

Dibert continues to practice at Dibert Law Group, PA, representing individuals and entities in matters across state and federal courts in Florida and Alabama.
