About Elecia Faith
Elecia Faith Byrd took the long view on a legal career. She finished law school in 2016 at The University of Texas School of Law and moved into practice in Texas soon after.
Her time at UT Law coincided with a formative period in legal education there. The curriculum and clinics at the school emphasize practical skills as much as doctrinal study. Byrd left with a J.D. and a readiness to try cases, draft pleadings and manage client matters.
Byrd went on to join Zinda Law Group, PLLC. She has remained with the firm, working on cases that require detailed preparation and regular courtroom work. Colleagues describe her as deliberate in litigation strategy and attentive to case mechanics.
Day-to-day, Byrd’s work involves the kinds of tasks most litigators do: investigating facts, preparing discovery requests and responses, drafting motions and briefs, and arguing procedural matters in court. She handles client interviews and coordinates with experts when a technical opinion is needed. Her docket shows a mix of contested matters and negotiated resolutions.
Outside of filings and hearings, Byrd places emphasis on clarity. She aims to explain complex legal points to clients in straightforward terms. That has been useful in settlement talks and in preparing witnesses for depositions and trial testimony.
She is authorized to practice law in Texas and bases her practice at Zinda Law Group, PLLC. Her professional path is grounded in courtroom experience and document-intensive litigation work. Her practice concentrates on representing clients in Texas state courts.
