About Dylan M

Dylan M Cappello builds his legal work on a straightforward premise: prepare thoroughly and let the facts guide the case. He studied politics and philosophy as an undergraduate and returned to law school to learn the mechanics of litigation. The result is a practice that blends attention to detail with courtroom preparation.

Cappello earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government & World Affairs and Philosophy from the University of Tampa in 2010. He then attended Stetson University College of Law, where he completed his Juris Doctor in 2017. Those years shaped his approach to advocacy and gave him formal training in trial procedure, evidence and the rules that govern civil practice in Florida.

After finishing law school, Cappello began practicing in Florida. He is licensed to appear in Florida courts and has maintained active involvement in professional organizations oriented toward trial advocacy. Since 2018 he has been a member of both the Florida Justice Association and the American Association for Justice. Those memberships indicate an ongoing engagement with continuing legal education and collective efforts to address procedural and substantive developments affecting civil litigation.

Cappello’s work emphasizes preparation for court and for settlement discussions. He handles files that require detailed factual investigation and careful legal analysis. Colleagues describe his approach as methodical. He organizes evidence with an eye to how a judge or jury will perceive it. He also communicates that organization clearly to clients so they understand the options and likely outcomes.

At Cappello Legal, P.A., Cappello practices alongside other lawyers and staff who manage the administrative and litigation tasks associated with civil matters. His role involves drafting pleadings, taking and defending depositions, preparing witnesses for trial, and arguing motions when disputes arise. He balances courtroom readiness with efforts to resolve cases through negotiation when that serves a client’s interests.

Outside of casework he stays current through continuing education and involvement in professional groups. He attends seminars and association meetings that cover trial techniques, evolving case law, and procedural changes in state courts. The aim is practical: keep tools sharp and apply them to everyday problems his clients bring.

Cappello continues to practice law in Florida from his office at Cappello Legal, P.A., where he concentrates on civil litigation and trial work in state courts.
