About Dustin E.
Dustin E. Davies is an Atlanta-based plaintiff attorney whose career has moved steadily from clerkship to courtroom practice. He earned his J.D. from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in 2008 after completing a B.A. in political science at the University of Georgia in 2003. Those early years set the stage for a practice centered on civil litigation.
His legal career began in a traditional way: a law clerk position at Adams & Jordan, P.C., in 2010. He then joined Savage, Turner, Pinckney & Madison in 2011, gaining hands-on experience in litigation. In 2012 he signed on with Hasty Pope LLP, where he spent several years handling personal injury and related civil matters. The firm evolved and, by 2020, he was practicing under the Hasty Pope Davies banner. In 2023 he became a lawyer at Davies Hothem Injury Law, a firm where he continues to handle cases on behalf of injured individuals.
Davies mixes courtroom work with organizational involvement. He serves as Co-Chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee for the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, a role that places him at the intersection of policy and practice. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia’s Statewide Judicial Evaluation Standing Committee and an Associate Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. He also belongs to the Southern Trial Lawyers Association and the National Trial Lawyers Association, and he participates on the Public Affairs Committee of the American Association for Justice. Those roles reflect active engagement in the professional community and an interest in how rules and policy affect civil litigation.
On the bench and at deposition, Davies handles the mechanics of complex cases: discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. He represents plaintiffs in personal injury matters and related litigation, taking cases from initial investigation through trial when necessary. Colleagues describe him as someone who prepares thoroughly and presses issues in court when the facts support it.
His practice today is concentrated at Davies Hothem Injury Law. He divides his time between client work, court appearances, and committee duties that keep him connected to developments in legislation and judicial evaluation. He currently handles personal injury cases at Davies Hothem Injury Law.
