About Kristy
Kristy Davies built her legal foundation at the University of Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in 2006. She went on to law school at Florida State University College of Law and received her J.D. in 2010. Those years in Athens and Tallahassee set the stage for a career that moved quickly from public service into private practice.
After law school she began work in the First Judicial Circuit as an Assistant State Lawyer in 2010. That role placed her inside courtrooms early in her career and exposed her to daily litigation practice. She managed filings, appeared in hearings and developed the procedural fluency that lawyers rely on when cases grow complicated.
In 2012 she joined Harris Lowry Manton LLP as an associate. At the firm she worked alongside trial attorneys and handled a docket of civil matters. The position deepened her experience in case preparation, witness interviews and the kind of discovery that decides a case before it reaches trial or settlement.
Davies later moved into a practice bearing her name. She is a lawyer at Davies Hothem Injury Law, where she practices in both Georgia and Florida. Her dual admissions allow her to represent clients across state lines. She has been active in professional circles, including membership in the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association since 2012.
Those who appear before her now will find a lawyer accustomed to the rhythms of both state and circuit court calendars. She draws on work from public prosecution and later civil practice to evaluate risk and develop strategies for clients. Her approach is practical; she seeks to identify key issues early and to keep cases moving toward resolution whether by negotiation or trial.
Her current practice centers on representing people harmed in accidents and pursuing damages in personal injury matters in Georgia and Florida.
