About Dennis C
Dennis C Mahoney began his academic path at the University of Cincinnati, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1976. He returned to Ohio for legal training and received his law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 1987.
After law school, Mahoney built a practice that crosses state lines. He holds memberships with the State Bar of Ohio and the State Bar of Kentucky and is admitted to practice before the Ohio Supreme Court and the Commonwealth of Kentucky. His court authorizations extend to federal trial courts, including the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.
He remains active in organized bar life. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association and the Northern Kentucky Bar Association, and he participates in state-level groups such as the Kentucky Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association. His involvement includes roles in trial-oriented organizations; he serves as a trustee of the Greater Cincinnati Trial Lawyers Association and maintains membership in the Ohio Association for Justice, the Kentucky Justice Association and the Southwest Ohio Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a barrister of the Potter Stewart American Inn of Court.
Mahoney’s professional circle extends beyond strictly legal organizations. He lists memberships in the Fraternal Order of Police, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Sons of the American Legion. He also has ties to the Cheviot Police Association as a former member. Those affiliations reflect a long pattern of engagement with civic and community organizations in the Cincinnati–Northern Kentucky area.
Over the course of his career, Mahoney has concentrated on courtroom work and trial matters. His bar and federal court memberships have enabled him to handle cases across multiple jurisdictions. Colleagues describe him as experienced in litigation practice and familiar with the procedural and practical demands of trying cases in both state and federal venues.
He practices from an office associated with O Connor Acciani & Levy Co., LPA. He has combined local bar leadership and courtroom practice throughout his career. He focuses his practice on litigation in Ohio and Kentucky state and federal courts.
