About Anthony B.
Anthony B. Holman built a legal path that moves from law school classrooms to the courtroom corridors of Ohio. He combines formal training in law and decision sciences with years of courtroom and office experience. The result is a lawyer who understands both the technical and practical sides of representation.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources and Decision Sciences from Miami University of Ohio in 2004. He then attended the University of Dayton School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2008. Those years shaped his interest in how law interacts with business and organizational decision-making.
Holman began his legal work while still in school. In 2006 he worked as a law clerk at Mezibov & Jenkins Co., LPA, where he gained early exposure to client files and case preparation. In 2007 he served as an extern for the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. That placement offered a close-up view of trial practice and judicial decision-making.
After law school he joined White Getgey & Meyer Co., LPA in 2008. There he practiced as an attorney, handling matters that required court appearances and detailed case management. In 2012 he moved to Phillips Law Office, Inc., where he continued his courtroom and client representation work. His career path shows steady movement into roles with increasing responsibility.
Outside of day-to-day casework Holman participates in professional organizations. He holds memberships in the Cincinnati Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He became a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum in 2019. He is also a fellow of the Cincinnati Academy of Leadership for Lawyers, a role he has held since 2014. These affiliations reflect ongoing engagement with legal peers and opportunities for continuing education.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparation and straightforward in court. He approaches matters by dissecting facts, testing legal theories, and preparing witnesses and filings for effective presentation. He has experience on both sides of contested matters, which informs how he strategizes in individual cases.
Holman is based in Ohio and practices out of Phillips Law Office, Inc. He represents clients in matters before Ohio courts.
