About Dayrell
Dayrell Scrivner earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Missouri–Kansas City, receiving a B.B.A. in 1990. He stayed in Kansas City for law school and completed his J.D. at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 1993. Those formative years established a foundation in business and legal training that shaped the next stages of his work.
He began his legal career in Missouri, moving into public service early on. In 2002 he served as Chief Assistant Prosecutor in the Stone County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. That role placed him in courtroom work and case management, handling prosecutions at the county level and working alongside local law enforcement. Over time he shifted from public office to private practice, bringing courtroom experience into his own firm.
Outside courtroom work, Scrivner pursued professional training relevant to criminal justice and domestic-violence prosecution. He holds a Missouri Specialist Instructor License from the Missouri Department of Public Safety. He also completed training through The National Institute on Prosecution of Domestic Violence, a program run by the Bureau of Justice Assistance at the U.S. Department of Justice. Those certifications reflect time spent on specialized instruction and training in prosecutorial and public-safety topics.
He maintains active ties to the legal community in Missouri. Since 1999 he has been a member of the Forty-sixth Judicial Circuit Court of Missouri Bar Association. That membership has kept him connected to colleagues in the circuit and updated on local court developments. He is listed as holding membership in other professional groups as well.
Today Scrivner practices through Scrivner Law Office LLC. His practice draws on decades of experience in both prosecution and private practice. He handles matters in Missouri and continues to work on cases that reflect his background in criminal law and courtroom procedure. His current practice focuses on litigation and related legal services in Missouri.
