About Dave Bagley

Dave Bagley LL.M. trained in law over nearly a decade of formal study. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 1999. He then completed a J.D. at the University of Idaho in 2005. He capped his academic preparation with an LL.M. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2006.

After finishing his LL.M., Bagley entered practice in Idaho. In 2006 he joined Racine Olson as Of Counsel. That role tied him to a regional practice and to matters grounded in Idaho law. He has maintained professional ties to the state bar and the local legal community since then.

Bagley also has experience in legal education. In 2015 he served as a clinical assistant professor at the Idaho State University College of Business. In that appointment he worked in an academic setting that brings practical problems to students and brings students into contact with practicing professionals. The position gave him a chance to teach alongside his practice experience and to engage directly with students preparing for careers that intersect with the law.

He is a current member of the Idaho State Bar and practices under Idaho jurisdiction. That membership reflects his standing to handle matters that arise under state laws and regulations. His background combines courtroom and office practice with a spell in the classroom, a combination that informs how he approaches client matters and case strategies.

Colleagues describe Bagley as methodical and steady in his approach to legal questions. He has balanced duties at a private law office with responsibilities in higher education. Those varied roles have given him exposure to both transactional and advisory work, and to the day-to-day demands of guiding clients through state-level procedures.

Today he is based at Racine Olson where he continues to serve clients in Idaho. His practice concentrates on legal matters arising under Idaho law, and he remains active in the Idaho State Bar.
