About Daryle C.
Daryle C. Tibbs built a steady legal path that begins in Ohio classrooms and leads into courtroom work. He earned a B.A. in political science from Miami University of Ohio in 2002, then completed both a J.D. at Capital University Law School and an M.A. in Law & Criminal Justice from Xavier University in 2007. Those degrees set the stage for a practice that spans trial work, public defense and collaborative processes.
His earliest legal work came while he was still in school. In 2006 he interned at the Law Office of Perry L. Ancona. He spent 2008 doing a pro bono internship with the Ohio Public Defender's Office and an externship with the Columbus Bar Association Ethics Committee. After law school he served as a law clerk in 2009 at The Law Office of Thomas G. Widman, LLC and practiced under a temporary license at the Capital University Legal Clinic the same year.
Tibbs moved into firm work in 2010 as an associate at the Law Office of Joseph C. Lucas, LLC. A year later he opened his own practice, founding Tibbs Law Office, LLC in 2011. He has also handled municipal court defense work; in 2018 he served as a public defender in Springdale Mayor's Court. Those roles gave him repeated courtroom exposure and experience with local judicial procedures.
He is a member of several professional groups. He joined the Cincinnati Bar Association in 2009 and the Ohio State Bar Association in 2008. He also belongs to the Warren County Bar Association, Phi Alpha Delta and to both the Cincinnati Academy of Collaborative Professionals and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, memberships he began in 2016. These affiliations reflect involvement in both traditional litigation and alternative dispute methods.
Practically, his background centers on criminal defense and representation in municipal settings, paired with collaborative practice techniques for matters where parties seek negotiated outcomes. Colleagues and clients see him in courtrooms and at mediation tables. He is admitted to practice in Ohio and Kentucky and has maintained a local presence through his firm.
Tibbs continues to run Tibbs Law Office, LLC, balancing court appearances with collaborative casework and municipal representation. His current practice focuses on criminal defense, municipal court matters and collaborative practice in Ohio and Kentucky.
