About Daniel C.

Daniel C. Green earned his law degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 1984 after completing undergraduate studies at Weber State University in 1980. Those formative years set the stage for a career centered on insolvency and creditor-debtor law. He combined classroom training with early practice that steered him toward bankruptcy work.

Green built his practice in Idaho and soon took on cases that reached federal forums. He is admitted to the Idaho bar and is authorized to appear in the federal courts of Idaho and Utah as well as the Ninth Circuit. That mix of state and federal admission has shaped the kinds of matters he handles and the clients he represents.

He is a partner at Racine Olson, where he has handled business reorganizations, asset recovery, and related litigation. Colleagues describe him as steady in court and careful in negotiation. He has experience representing creditors, debtors, trustees, and other stakeholders in complex restructuring matters.

Green holds a certification in Business Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Law from the American Board of Certification. That credential reflects a specific body of practice rather than an academic distinction. He also participates in industry groups that keep him engaged with changes in bankruptcy procedure and commercial law.

Active in professional circles, Green maintains memberships in the Idaho State Bar, the American Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, and the Commercial Law League of America. He attends conferences, contributes to case strategy discussions, and exchanges practice guidance with peers. Those affiliations help him stay current on evolving case law and statutory developments.

Over the years Green has handled contested matters in both trial and appellate settings. He navigates claim disputes, plan confirmation contests, preference and fraudulent transfer actions, and creditor negotiations. His courtroom experience includes contested hearings and adversary proceedings in federal bankruptcy courts.

He continues his work at Racine Olson where he handles business bankruptcy and creditors’ rights matters for clients across Idaho and in federal matters before the Ninth Circuit and regional federal courts.
