About Dana
Dana Kinsella earned her Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law in 2010 after beginning her legal studies in 2007. Her time in law school coincided with a period of change in Minnesota legal education, and she left the program prepared to enter practice in the state. The degree provided a foundation in courtroom procedure, legal research and client advocacy.
After law school Kinsella began practicing in Minnesota. She has been admitted to the Minnesota bar and built a career based on handling matters under state law. Over the years she has worked on cases and transactions that required attention to statutory detail and procedural rules in state courts and administrative forums.
Kinsella’s approach to cases is practical. She sets priorities around clear communication and steady case management. That means careful preparation before hearings and an emphasis on explaining legal options to clients in plain terms. She balances courtroom readiness with efforts to resolve disputes through negotiation when appropriate.
Her work has involved both contested proceedings and advisory matters. In contested matters she has prepared pleadings, taken and defended depositions, and argued motions. In advisory roles she has drafted agreements, reviewed compliance questions and counseled clients about state regulatory obligations. The practice demands attention to deadlines and to changes in Minnesota law. She keeps current through continuing legal education and regular review of developments affecting her clients.
Colleagues say she approaches difficult matters methodically and without unnecessary flair. Clients value a straightforward explanation of risks and possible outcomes. Outside the office she engages in the routine professional activities that keep a small practice functioning, from case intake to courtroom scheduling and billing.
Kinsella works in Minnesota and serves clients whose matters arise under state law. She currently practices law in Minnesota.
