About Cody Michael
Cody Michael Jerabek built his path to the law through a steady sequence of classroom years and practical training. He completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Saint Thomas in 2013 after beginning undergraduate study in 2009. He then moved west to attend the University of Wyoming College of Law, earning his J.D. in 2016.
His formal education laid the groundwork for a professional life spent practicing law. After earning his J.D., he entered private practice. Over the years that followed he has handled the daily demands of client work, court filings and case preparation. Those early years in practice are where many lawyers sharpen research and writing, and Jerabek’s background reflects that familiar progression from student to practitioner.
Colleagues describe him as steady in approach and methodical in handling legal matters. That steadiness is reflected in the kinds of tasks he takes on: factual investigation, legal analysis and drafting of pleadings and other documents. He developed the procedural and analytical skills that law firms expect of associates and junior partners. He also learned to manage client communications and deadlines, which often shape a lawyer’s day-to-day work.
Jerabek’s career has kept him tied to firm practice rather than public office or academic roles. He is part of the team at McKellar, Tiedeken & Scoggin, LLC, where he contributes to the firm’s workload and supports case development. The office environment there appears to emphasize collaboration among attorneys and staff, and Jerabek has worked within that setting to build his caseload and professional responsibilities.
Outside the office, his trajectory mirrors that of many attorneys who move from school to practice in a relatively short span of time. The progression from a liberal arts undergraduate education to a three-year professional law program is a common route, and in Jerabek’s case it led directly to practice at a regional law firm. He brings to his role the legal training he received in law school and the practical lessons learned on the job.
As of 2026 he continues to practice at McKellar, Tiedeken & Scoggin, LLC, handling the firm’s client work and the procedural demands of litigation and transactional matters at the firm level.
