About Ryan
Ryan Wright built a career that crosses public service and private practice. He began his academic path at Northern Arizona University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science in 2003. He went on to attend Georgetown University Law Center, earning his law degree before entering work at the federal level.
Early in his career Wright spent time in Washington, D.C., on the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor & Pension Committee in 2005. That experience exposed him to legislative processes and policy drafting. It also offered a different vantage point on how law and public policy intersect outside the courtroom.
He later moved into county-level legal work. In 2012 he served as a deputy county attorney in Johnson County. The role involved routine prosecutorial duties and advising county officials on legal matters. By 2015 he was an assistant district lawyer in the Laramie County District Attorney’s Office. Those positions gave him hands-on experience with courtroom procedure, case preparation, and municipal legal issues.
Wright is admitted to practice in New York and Wyoming. That dual-state licensure reflects both his mobility and the variety of legal environments he has worked in. He also maintains current professional memberships in bar and legal associations.
He now runs The Wright Law Office. The firm is a small, local practice that handles matters informed by his public-sector background. Clients see a lawyer who has worked inside both legislative and prosecutorial offices. That background informs how he approaches factual development, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy.
Colleagues and clients describe him as steady and pragmatic in court and in meetings. He keeps a deliberate pace in casework, preferring careful preparation over flash.
