About Christopher T.

Christopher T. Brown studied economics before turning to law. He earned a B.S. in Economics from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2008 and then took his law degree at Syracuse University College of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2011, where he concentrated in criminal law. The academic record points to a lawyer comfortable with both numbers and courtroom procedure.

His legal career began soon after law school. In 2011 he joined Anelli Xavier, PC as an associate. The next year he gained public-sector experience through an internship at the Chenango County District Attorney's Office in 2012 and moved into a staff role in Broome County later that year as an Assistant District Lawyer. Those years in county offices supplied early courtroom time and exposure to criminal prosecution practice.

By 2015 he had moved into private practice as a senior associate at the Law Office of Remy Perot. That role extended his trial and case-management responsibilities and gave him experience handling a broader range of client matters. He maintained ties to the Broome County legal community, joining the Broome County Bar Association in 2015 and remaining a member since then.

Brown now operates under his own firm name, Chris Brown Law. He also holds a New York State real estate broker certification, a credential that complements his legal work when matters involve property, title, or transactional questions. His background blends prosecutorial experience, private defense work and transactional know-how.

Colleagues describe him as someone who moves between court dockets and contract details without losing sight of the practical outcome a client needs. The mix of criminal law training and a real estate license shapes how he approaches cases, whether that means litigating in a county courtroom or reviewing documents for a closing. He has handled roles across small firms and government offices, giving him familiarity with the procedural and factual pressures clients face.

Today he maintains his practice in New York through Chris Brown Law. His current practice focuses on criminal defense and real estate matters.
