About Christopher Patrick
Christopher Patrick Ford grew up in Nevada and built a career anchored to the state’s courts and communities. He combined an early interest in public affairs with legal training, then translated that blend into private practice. He is known around the office for a practical manner and an attention to legal detail.
Ford earned his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. He stayed in Las Vegas for law school, receiving his J.D. from the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law in 2009. Those years in Nevada’s public and academic circles shaped his understanding of the local legal landscape and how law intersects with policy and everyday business needs.
After graduating from Boyd, Ford remained in Nevada to begin his legal career. He worked on a range of matters that exposed him to courtroom procedure, client counseling, and the demands of running case files from intake through resolution. Over time he added management responsibilities and began taking a larger role in directing litigation strategy and office operations.
He is a founding partner of Ford & Friedman. At the firm he has taken on both the substantive work of representing clients and the organizational work of building a practice. Those dual responsibilities require him to move between drafting pleadings, preparing witnesses, and handling administrative decisions about staffing and client intake.
Colleagues describe his approach as straightforward. He structures cases to highlight key facts and legal points. He prepares clients for hearings and trials in plain language. He also pays attention to the administrative side of running a firm, helping set office procedures and supervise case workflows. He has delivered oral arguments and appeared in hearings in Nevada courts, and he spends time coaching newer lawyers at the firm on courtroom decorum and case preparation.
Today, Ford is based in Nevada where he continues to lead Ford & Friedman. He represents clients in matters that arise under Nevada law and manages the firm’s day-to-day practice. He currently practices law in Nevada at Ford & Friedman, where his practice focuses on advising and representing clients in Nevada state matters.
