About David R Jacks

David R Jacks Jr. built his legal foundation in the classroom and in the courthouse. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2006. He went on to receive a Juris Doctor from Arizona Summit Law School, completing his law degree in 2010. Those academic years bookend a period of steady professional development that began before law school and carried into private practice.

His earliest listed legal role was as a law clerk at The Wright Law Offices in 2005. That position came while he was completing his undergraduate studies and provided an entry point into legal work. After law school he moved into practice and, within a year of earning his J.D., established his own firm. In 2011 he became Lawyer/Owner of The Jacks Law Group, taking on both responsibility for clients and the practical tasks of running a small firm.

Jacks has practiced in Nevada throughout his career. Operating his own office required balancing courtroom preparation, client meetings and the administrative side of a legal practice. Those demands shaped a professional who spends as much time managing cases as advising clients on procedural matters. The firm’s longevity reflects a steady practice rather than rapid expansion.

Colleagues and clients describe Jacks as pragmatic and straightforward in his approach. He tends to present legal options plainly and to set realistic expectations about timing and likely outcomes. He prefers clarity over legalese. That communication style is a defining feature of his work and informs how he handles everyday challenges that arise in private practice.

Outside of the immediate work of the office, Jacks’s career shows a conventional progression: undergraduate study, a period as a law clerk, legal education and then formation of a private practice. He has kept his professional base in Nevada and maintained the firm he founded in 2011. The Jacks Law Group remains his primary professional vehicle and the place where he continues to serve clients. He currently centers his practice on serving clients through The Jacks Law Group in Nevada.
