About Christopher Mark
Christopher Mark Winslow has practiced law in Virginia since earning his J.D. in 2003. He built his career steadily and moved into partnership fairly early. Colleagues describe him as steady in court and deliberate in preparation.
Winslow's formal legal education began at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 2003. He holds a B.A. in American Political Institutions from the University of Mary Washington, awarded in 1997. He also attended the University of Richmond in 2013 for further study.
After law school, Winslow entered private practice in Virginia. He became a partner at Winslow & McCurry, PLLC in 2008 and has served in that role since. In the partnership he handles case development, client counseling, court appearances and the day-to-day management tasks that come with running a smaller firm. He has experience in matters that move between state courts and federal appellate venues.
Winslow is admitted to practice in Virginia and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He maintains active ties to the local bar. He is a current member of the Richmond Bar Association and participates in bar activities and continuing legal education through that organization.
Peers note Winslow’s methodical approach at trial and in written advocacy. He prefers clear, direct presentation in court and in briefs. He often prepares cases to be ready for multiple possible paths, including settlement negotiations, trial, or appeal.
Outside the courtroom, Winslow balances firm responsibilities with time for mentoring younger lawyers. He has overseen associate training and contributed to the firm’s internal policies on case intake and client communication.
He remains a partner at Winslow & McCurry, PLLC. He currently practices at Winslow & McCurry, PLLC, representing clients in matters in Virginia courts and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
