About Christopher F.

Christopher F. Morales is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1991. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Morales is the founder and managing partner of The Morales Law Firm, a criminal defense practice with offices in San Francisco and Redwood City, California. He has been practicing law for over 35 years, serving clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and surrounding counties.

Mr. Morales earned his Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1990. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Berkeley, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1984. During his time at Santa Clara University, he developed a strong interest in criminal law, which led him to focus his practice exclusively on criminal defense.

Mr. Morales concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense, handling a wide range of cases including felonies, misdemeanors, and juvenile matters. He has represented clients in various stages of the legal process, including pre-trial motions, trials, appeals, and post-conviction proceedings. His experience encompasses cases involving drug offenses, theft crimes, assault, domestic violence, and white-collar crimes.

Throughout his career, Mr. Morales has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Francisco, the Superior Court of California for the County of San Mateo, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in San Francisco for several years.

Mr. Morales is an active member of the State Bar of California and holds certification as a Criminal Law Specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He has served on the Board of Directors of the San Mateo County Bar Association and the Barristers Club of the Bar Association of San Francisco. Additionally, he has been involved with the La Raza Lawyers Association of San Mateo County, serving as its president from 1995 to 1996. Mr. Morales is fluent in Spanish, allowing him to effectively serve the diverse communities of the San Francisco Bay Area.
