John Patrick Campion is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2002. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Campion is the founder and primary attorney at the Law Office of John P. Campion, a solo practice located at 650 5th Street, Suite 510, San Francisco, California. He has been practicing law for over twenty years, serving clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and the broader California region.
Mr. Campion earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2001. During his final year, he was a certified law student in the USF Law Clinic, where he worked as defense counsel for indigent clients on criminal cases in the San Francisco Superior Court. Additionally, he spent a summer abroad at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, where he studied the International Criminal Court, among other subjects. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at California State University, Hayward (now California State University, East Bay), receiving a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature in 1990. During his junior year, he studied abroad in Rome, Italy, through Loyola University of Chicago, focusing on the art and architecture of Rome and Italian literature.
Mr. Campion concentrates his practice in criminal defense, handling both felony and misdemeanor cases in state and federal courts. His areas of focus include violent crimes such as sex offenses and domestic violence, DUI defense, white-collar crimes like embezzlement and grand theft, drug offenses including possession for sale, Fish & Game violations, juvenile offenses, expungements, and DMV licensing issues.
