About Christine S.

Christine S. Anderson has spent more than three decades practicing law in New Hampshire. She built her career on academic training that combined a practical law degree and advanced legal study. Those credentials underpin a steady practice in trusts and estates and related areas.

She earned a B.S. from Boston College in 1985 and a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 1988. She returned to graduate study a few years later and completed an LL.M. at Boston University School of Law in 1992. The additional degree signaled an early interest in complex aspects of estate and tax planning.

Her peers recognized that expertise in 2006 when she became a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. That fellowship is reserved for lawyers who have established substantial experience in trusts and estates. Since then she has continued to participate in the professional community that sets practice standards for estate planning, probate and fiduciary law.

Over the years Anderson’s work has ranged from advising clients on lifetime planning to handling administration matters after a death. She counsels individuals, family groups and fiduciaries on drafting documents, managing trust relationships and meeting tax reporting obligations. She also handles matters that arise in probate court, including accountings and distribution issues. Her practice mixes transactional drafting, advisory work and contested matters when they occur.

Anderson practices from the firm Ansell & Anderson, P.A. The office acts as a base for client meetings, document preparation and court work across the state. Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing estate plans and precise in explaining complex tax or fiduciary rules to clients who must make decisions at difficult times.

Outside of direct client work she has remained active in continuing legal education and professional exchanges that address changes in state and federal law affecting estates and trusts. That engagement helps keep her practice current as tax rules, probate procedures and trust instruments evolve.

She continues to serve clients in New Hampshire on matters involving estate planning, trust administration and related tax issues. Her current practice focuses on advising individuals and fiduciaries through planning, administration and dispute resolution in estate and trust matters.
