About Christina J.

Christina J. Aguirre built her professional path on two different campuses. One trained her in the arts; the other trained her in the law. Those two strands shape how she approaches the problems clients bring her way.

Aguirre earned a Bachelor of Music from Northern Arizona University before turning to legal study. She completed her Juris Doctor at Howard University School of Law, where classroom work and clinic experience exposed her to a range of legal issues and practical skills. The combination of a music degree and a law degree is uncommon. She says the discipline required for musical performance translated into attention to detail in legal research and preparation.

After law school, she entered practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is licensed to practice in Virginia and handles matters that arise under state law. Her career has involved representing clients in proceedings, drafting legal documents, and advising on transactional matters. She approaches each file by breaking complex questions into manageable parts and then communicating the options clearly to the people she represents.

Colleagues note that her training at Howard emphasized both doctrinal rigor and public service. That background appears in her work; she balances courtroom readiness with an eye toward practical solutions outside of litigation. Her music training also informs how she organizes time and prepares for hearings and negotiations. Those habits show up in calendars, trial binders and client explanations alike.

Aguirre's practice is grounded in day-to-day legal work in Virginia. She maintains regular contact with clients, manages discovery and filings, and appears as needed in state forums. She also keeps up with continuing legal education and local rules so procedural steps are handled correctly and deadlines are met.

Outside of casework, she has participated in community legal events and professional gatherings in the region. She often speaks about translating classroom training into effective representation and about the practical demands of serving clients in state courts and administrative settings.

She currently practices law in Virginia, representing clients in matters arising under state law.
