About Christian G. Andreu-von
Christian G. Andreu-von Euw is a litigation lawyer and principal at The Business Litigation Group, P.C. He brings an uncommon combination of engineering training and courtroom experience to business disputes. His path to the courtroom began in labs and engineering shops.
He earned a B.S. from Harvey Mudd College in 1999 and a J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2009. The technical and legal educations bookend a career that moved from product development into litigation. Those two degrees shape how he evaluates cases and how he prepares witnesses for technical testimony.
After college he worked as a hardware engineer at Tiernan Communications in 1999 and then as a lead hardware engineer at LightPointe in 2000. He later took on project management responsibilities at Fine Particle Technology in 2005. Those positions exposed him to product design, testing protocols, and the documentation practices that often become evidence in commercial and intellectual property disputes.
He entered private practice as a litigation lawyer at Morrison & Foerster LLP in 2009. In that role he handled commercial litigation matters that required close coordination between technical experts and litigators. He is admitted in California and in several federal forums, including the Ninth Circuit, the Federal Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California.
In 2021 he founded Tech . Law, a venture that reflects his interest in technology-related legal issues. In 2023 he became principal at The Business Litigation Group, P.C., where he oversees case strategy and trial preparation. His practice involves business litigation and disputes arising from technology, patents, and commercial contracts.
Andreu-von Euw maintains an active presence in professional and civic groups. He is a current member of the Federal Courts Committee of the California Lawyers Association and has served as its chair. He sits on the board of the San Diego Association of Business Trial Lawyers and belongs to the San Diego IP Lawyers Association. He serves on the Board of Advisors for the University of San Diego’s Integrated Engineering Program and on the Board of Advisors for Crawford High School’s Academy of Law, where he previously served as chair.
Colleagues describe his courtroom work as analytical and fact-driven. He draws on his engineering background to translate complex technical details into clear explanations for judges and juries. His files often combine expert reports, deposition strategy, and detailed technical timelines.
His current practice centers on business litigation and technology-related disputes at The Business Litigation Group, P.C.
