About Camille Allan
Camille Allan Crandall earned her J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 2007 after completing a B.A. at the University of Georgia in 2004. She moved from an undergraduate program in Georgia to a law curriculum in Virginia, finishing law school the year she received her degree. The academic path set the stage for a practice centered in Virginia.
After law school, Crandall entered private practice and developed a steady record representing clients in family law matters. She is licensed to practice law in Virginia and has worked on cases that involve custody, support, equitable distribution and related disputes. Her work has included courtroom appearances, negotiated settlements and alternative dispute resolution processes.
Crandall has been active in professional groups throughout her career. She has maintained membership in the American Bar Association since 2007 and joined the Virginia Women Lawyers’ Association the same year. She is a member of the Fairfax Bar Association’s Young Lawyers and Family Law Sections, affiliations she began in 2008. She also belongs to the Virginia Trial Lawyers’ Association – Family Law Section and has been part of the Fairfax Hispanic Bar Association since 2011. Those memberships have kept her engaged with peers and the local bar community.
Her practice has involved a mix of litigation and client counseling. She represents clients at all stages of family law proceedings, from initial filings through trial when necessary. She also works on settlement negotiations and mediations, seeking resolutions that address the practical needs of families. Colleagues describe her approach as pragmatic; she prepares cases to be litigated or settled depending on the client's objectives.
Crandall’s geographic base of activity is in Northern Virginia, where the Fairfax legal community is a frequent locus of her work. She has developed ties to local court personnel and professionals through bar association involvement and regular casework in the region. That local grounding informs her understanding of court procedures and timelines in the area.
She continues to handle family law matters for individuals and families in Virginia. Her current practice focuses on representing clients in custody, support, equitable distribution and related family law issues.
