About Jordan

Jordan Nye earned her law degree from George Mason University School of Law in 2011. She completed her legal studies as the profession was changing, entering practice at a time when courts and clients were adapting to new technology and shifting expectations. The degree set the stage for a career spent largely in the mid-Atlantic legal community.

After law school, Nye built experience through successive associate roles at several regional firms. In 2017 she served as a senior associate at Ackerman Brown PLLC. She later held senior associate positions in 2021 at both Price Benowitz LLP and Shulman, Rogers, Gandal, Pordy, & Ecker. Those years included work at firms with varied practices and client bases, giving her exposure to a range of procedural and substantive matters.

In 2023 Nye joined Jackson & Campbell, P.C. as a senior associate. The following year she moved to Raheen Family Law, P.C., again as a senior associate. The progression of moves reflects a steady accumulation of courtroom and case-management experience. Colleagues describe her as pragmatic and attentive to the practical details that affect litigation and negotiated resolutions.

Nye is admitted to practice in Virginia and in the District of Columbia. She has maintained professional memberships since the mid-2010s. Those memberships have provided opportunities for continuing legal education and for professional networking. She has used those forums to keep abreast of developments in family law and related procedural changes.

Throughout her career Nye has worked in firm settings of differing sizes and specialties. That experience has involved drafting pleadings, preparing witnesses, conducting discovery and participating in settlement discussions. She has handled matters that required both litigation strategy and client counseling. The record of roles suggests a lawyer comfortable in both the courtroom and the conference room.

Now based at Raheen Family Law, P.C., Nye concentrates her practice on family law matters. She represents clients and manages cases through trial and alternative dispute resolution. Her current work focuses on resolving disputes arising from separation and family transitions at the firm where she has practiced since 2024.
