About Brian

Brian Zeiger built a steady legal career on a foundation of dual graduate degrees and a background in accounting and finance. He studied accounting and finance at Washington University in St. Louis, earning a Bachelor of Science in 1993. He returned to Philadelphia for graduate work and received both an MBA and a Juris Doctor from Temple University in 1997.

His academic record set up a practice that bridges financial detail and courtroom procedure. After law school he entered private practice and, in 2006, became a partner at Levin & Zeiger LLP. That partnership title reflects two decades in the field and a steady presence at a single firm since mid-career.

Zeiger is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before federal tribunals. His credentials include admission to the Third Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Those admissions broaden the range of cases he can take and allow him to engage on both trial and appellate levels when matters require it.

Within the profession he has taken on roles that align with criminal defense practice. He serves as Vice Chair of the Criminal Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Philadelphia Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Those memberships place him in the network of lawyers who handle state and federal criminal work.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing for hearings and appeals and pragmatic at the negotiating table. His combined training in law and business informs his handling of cases that raise financial or regulatory questions. He has worked on matters that range from trial litigation to appellate filings, drawing on both courtroom experience and an understanding of financial records when needed.

Outside of court filings and association meetings, Zeiger’s background suggests an ability to engage complex factual scenarios where numbers matter. He maintains an active practice at Levin & Zeiger LLP, where he has been a partner since 2006. He currently represents clients in criminal matters in Pennsylvania and in federal proceedings where he is admitted to appear.
