About Brian

Brian Roskin took a straightforward path into law. He graduated from Northwestern University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and psychology, then earned his J.D. from Saint Louis University in 2004. Those years set the rhythm for a career spent largely in Missouri courtrooms and small-firm practice.

He began his legal career in private practice. In 2007 he worked as an associate at Dunne, Koenig and Green. The next year he joined The Korte Law Office as an associate. By 2011 he had become a partner at Roskin & Hoffmann, LLC. The move to partnership marked a shift from starting-out roles to responsibility for case strategy and firm operations.

Roskin is licensed to practice in Missouri and has been involved in bar and professional groups since early in his career. He has been a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Lawyers since 2007. He also holds memberships in the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL) and the Small Firm Internet Group, both listed from 2007 to the present. Those affiliations reflect ongoing engagement with trial practice, local bar activities, and issues that affect small firms.

In practice he has worked on matters that require courtroom preparation and litigation management. His early years in associate roles gave him exposure to discovery, motion practice, and client counseling. As a partner, he assumed broader responsibilities, including supervising case teams and guiding litigation strategy. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing files and focused on courtroom tactics.

Clients and peers often notice attention to detail. Roskin's training in political science and psychology informs how he approaches witness preparation and case narratives. He applies an analytical approach to fact patterns and frames arguments to address legal standards and jury perception. That combination of legal training and behavioral insight underpins his courtroom work.

He practices from Roskin & Hoffmann, LLC, where he has been a partner since 2011. The firm operates in Missouri and handles matters that draw on trial experience and small-firm practice knowledge. He maintains active memberships in local and state trial and bar organizations and continues to work primarily on litigation and trial matters.

He currently practices at Roskin & Hoffmann, LLC, where his work centers on litigation and trial matters.
