About Brian
Brian Light earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 2011. He went on to law school at the University of Arkansas School of Law and received his J.D. in 2014. Those years set the pattern for a steady progression through Arkansas’s legal community and a practice rooted in local institutions.
He entered practice immediately after law school at the Havner Law Office in 2014. The following year he moved to Campbell & Grooms and continued to build courtroom and client-side experience. In 2017 his path took him through two different practices: Keech Law Office and Rainwater, Holt, & Sexton. Each move expanded his exposure to the types of matters that shape small-firm practice in the state. In 2018 he joined Caddell Reynolds. Since 2020 he has been listed as a lawyer at wh Law, where he remains active in practice.
Throughout his career Light has maintained a steady presence in Arkansas bar circles. He is a current member of the Arkansas State Bar and also belongs to the Debtor/Creditor Bar of Central Arkansas. Those memberships indicate ongoing participation in professional networks and continuing legal education tied to regional practice needs.
Colleagues describe him as an attorney who has navigated both transactional and contested matters while working across several local firms. His résumé reflects frequent transitions between small and mid-size offices, which often means handling a broad mix of client work. That breadth has given him practical familiarity with procedural practice and client counseling in state courts across Arkansas.
Clients and peers can expect a lawyer shaped by experience in multiple Arkansas firms over a relatively short period. He brings to each matter the procedural knowledge developed in early post-law-school roles and the broader perspective earned in later positions. He keeps active ties to local bar groups, which helps him stay current on developments that affect day-to-day practice.
Light’s office history and professional memberships point to a practice grounded in Arkansas law and practice. He concentrates on debtor-creditor issues and other state-level civil matters in his current work at wh Law.
